Health and Wellbeing Tools for Humanitarian Workers
Overview
While there is substantial attention paid to the safety and security of humanitarian staff, its focus has tended towards physical safety, neglecting the psychological and mental health of aid workers. Such inattention runs contrary to the evidence, which unsurprisingly (given the nature of crisis response) shows that aid workers suffer from high-levels of anxiety, post-traumatic stress symptoms, depression, and burnout. This website provides trainings and courses to improve wellbeing and self-care, especially in times of COVID-19.
