About
Dawn Vo-Jutabha, PhD, is the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at The Guidance Center, a CMHC in Long Beach, California. Her passion is providing quality clinical care to those whose life circumstances place them at a disadvantage. Throughout her career she has done so through various roles as a clinician, project manager of NICHD, SAMHSA BHWET, and NCTSN funded programs, training director, quality assurance manager, and finally as the CCO the past two years. In this role she ensures that the clinical services provided by the agency are effective and efficient. She oversees a team of over 100 staff and an annual budget of nearly $17 million. Dr. Vo-Jutabha has also maintained leadership roles such as the co-chair of the Southern California Association of Psychology Training Programs (SCAPTP), committee member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Programs (APPIC), and commissioner of the American Psychological Association (APA) Commission on Accreditation. She trained in CORS at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, where the practice was developed, under the tutelage of Nancy Kirshberg, LCSW. Dr. Vo-Jutabha provided trainings in CORS through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.
