Dorit Saberi, Ph.D is a Supervising Psychologist and Co-Director of Training for the Psychology Division at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. She is also the Clinical Director of Safe Harbor-Trauma Recovery Center. She conducts research, provides direct services, supervision and teaching in Evidence Based Practices adapted for adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness who are high utilizers of correctional, psychiatric emergency and inpatient services, and are homeless or at risk for homelessness. Her training and research interests include treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy adapted for adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and multiple co-morbid factors, and recidivism in mentally ill offenders.
