Joana Arcangel is a writer, disability rights advocate, and mother. She is currently employed at Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) as an Opportunity Specialist. Outside of this role, she also collaborates with other peers on various projects.
Joana shares both her professional and personal lived experience with the hope of increasing empathy and connectedness and decreasing the stigma and shame surrounding mental health challenges.
