Dr. Brianna Hobson is the second-year LGBTQ+ Youth Trauma, Resilience, and Community Education Post-Doctoral Fellow at the UCLA Division of Population Behavioral Health (DPBH). Dr. Hobson earned her dual degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in human sexuality from Widener University. In her clinical work, she enjoys providing supervision to advance trainees and LGBTQ+-affirming care to youth, young adults, and their families. As a researcher, she investigates the experiences of LGBTQ+ youth with gender-affirming interventions, patient satisfaction, and queer sex education. Dr. Hobson believes in creating a therapeutic environment that is warm, collaborative, empowering, and validating of the client’s experiences.
