At Fostering Dreams Project, our mission is to transform the lives of youth in underserved communities by reaching foster, homeless, and justice-involved youth through the healing art of dance and the performing arts. We provide exclusive opportunities to learn dance as a way to be more expressive, and increase social and academic engagement to help youth build confidence, become leaders, and create brighter futures.
Fostering Dreams Project partners with schools, government agencies, nonprofits, and recovery centers and has served over 20,000 youth in Los Angeles County to give youth a place to belong with a positive outlet. Fostering Dreams Project is designed to provide high-quality dance and performing arts education to create pathways for success in the areas of social-emotional learning, academic achievement and overall improved mental and physical health.
