Sophia Rodriguez is the director of clinical operations at the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley where she oversees the Domestic Violence Expert program that is currently working alongside the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services' Child Protection Hotline. She has her master’s degree in marriage, family, and child therapy and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She completed the Domestic Violence Advocate training in 2016 and has worked in residential and non-residential domestic violence settings. She has over eight years of experience working with victims of domestic violence and their children. Prior to joining the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley, Sophia worked in community mental health for eight years, providing services to families in LA County.
