Gina Amato Lough (she/ella) is an award-winning Latina immigrants' rights attorney, community leader, and social justice advocate. She directs Public Counsel’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, an interdisciplinary team of attorneys, social workers and administrative staff, that collaborates with immigrant communities to fight for humanitarian protections and a just immigration system. Gina engages in strategic litigation, policy advocacy and media efforts to protect and advance the rights of immigrants at the local, state, and national level. Her work has earned her the Daily Journal's California Lawyer, Attorney of the Year (CLAY) Award (2024) and the Kathleen Kim & Kebok Foundation's Community Impact Award (2022).
