Madison Akles is a researcher at Azusa Pacific University specializing in mobile health substance-use interventions and curriculum development for adolescent behavior-change programs with the Los County Department of Mental Health’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC) division. She is currently earning her Master of Science in data science, and conducted research at New York University examining the cognitive and motivational mechanisms that drive social behavior. Her current interests include novel applications of large language models and digital nudging strategies to promote prosocial and health-oriented behavior in online contexts.
