Carrie Vereide (she/her) is a social worker with Public Counsel’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, where she supports pro bono-placed clients and pro bono attorneys through direct social work services and social work technical assistance. She works to promote client-centered and trauma informed practices and partners with clients to help them access the tools and resources they need while navigating the legal process. Carrie’s previous work experience includes supporting migrants and survivors of violence through directly accompanying and supporting individuals in accessing resources and navigating social service systems, as well as through facilitating community education workshops. She holds a master's in social work from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor's in sociology and Spanish from Dickinson College.
