In this collection, educators can learn self-care tools and practices that match their busy schedules. We hope you find the training and resources helpful in supporting your wellbeing as you continue to educate and serve our communities selflessly.

Empowering Teachers to Determine Classroom Practice and Agency

Teacher agency can be defined as the voluntary exercise of power in thought, choices, and actions. Exercising this power of choice can enable teachers to create more equitable spaces for students. This presentation will provide teachers with practical and straightforward steps that can be implemented in their classrooms to create safe, affirming, and empowering learning spaces for all students. Areas of focus: Routines and procedures, curriculum, grading, and expectations.

Maintaining Professional Wellbeing for Educators

This training is designed to teach working educators how to improve their sense of wellbeing by defining strategies for emotion regulation, establishing and maintaining professional and personal boundaries, and exploring effective approaches to building personal resilience.
