Overview
This training discusses the programming history and requirements for both the Los Angeles County Office of the Public Guardian, which oversees conservatorship, and Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT), which works within court-ordered mental health treatments. Understanding the legal framework behind each of these programs helps to better navigate when clients are involved with multiple systems of care. Anytime session recorded on September 17, 2020.
