This training also covers common issues associated with providing mental health services in street-based outreach to the homeless, home-visits, and urban crime-ridden communities. This training will also describe best practices for identifying/managing issues related to personal space awareness, situational awareness, and exploring the different stages of a crisis: warning signs, assessment, decision making, communication, and the appropriate interventions to use during each crisis stage.
