Overview
This training will briefly outline different types of cognitive impairment often found among older adults. Since mental health services for persons with dementia or cognitive impairment cannot be billed for, the presenter will describe Medi-Cal regulations regarding billing for mental health services for persons with cognitive impairment who also have a co-occurring mental illness. Mental health interventions for these persons will also be discussed. Anytime session recorded on June 5 & 12, 2024.
