The Advanced Practice IDD Training will take a deeper dive into core strategies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) adaptions, enhancing communication, sensory diets, self-regulation strategies, and community asset mapping. A prerequisite for this training is completing the live OR anytime virtual training: Trauma Informed Strategies for Working With Individuals With ID/DD/ASD for Clinical Staff.
