Overview


In this Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) Seminar, Dr. Kiley Hanish will explain and present the unique challenges and mental health risks of becoming pregnant after a loss. She will be discussing specific techniques to encourage bereaved parents to create a connection to their deceased baby during pregnancy after loss. Additionally, she will delve into ways to support parents in developing an attachment to their new baby during their pregnancy. This training will touch on events and interactions that tend to be particularly difficult for those experiencing pregnancy after loss and Dr. Hanish will offer ways to support parents through those challenges. Finally, resources that are available to parents including support offered by Return to Zero: HOPE will be suggested by Dr. Hanish.
