Overview


This Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) Seminar will outline structural competency, a framework to enable clinical practitioners to address the community, institutional, and policy level drivers of inequalities in health and enhance health justice. The framework uses concepts from the social sciences to illuminate how clinicians can perceive and act on the mechanisms underlying social determinants of health.
