Overview

Collaborative teamwork is the cornerstone of effective service delivery and the capacity to meet the complex needs of individuals with severe mental illness who receive public mental health services (Tomizawa, Shigeta, & Reeves, 2017). Working well as a team can be challenging since mental health providers are often trained to focus on distinctions among professional fields. This training will identify strategies for developing a shared team mission and vision and a shared case-load approach to delivering services. We will review practices for team coordination and communication, and leading constructive team meetings. Anytime session recorded on October 25, 2023.
