From Meth to Methadone: The Evolving Landscape of Medications for Substance Use Disorders
This is a video.
Overview
This video will use the didactic presentation of clinical information, a review of common clinical presentations using cases that elicit answers from the audience, and an interactive discussion style to optimize the session content to the learner's own level. By the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to incorporate on-label and examine off-label medications for addiction, known as medication-assisted treatment (MAT), into the treatment of opioid use disorder and recognize the core components of successful MAT. In addition, participants will contrast disparities between different groups in opioid use disorder treatment.
