Overview


This training will focus on how eating disorders show up in underrepresented population groups, and how clinicians can work with clients to assess and screen for behaviors. This presentation will also educate providers on when and how to refer to a higher level of care for clients engaging in extreme eating disorder behaviors. Clinicians and providers will also walk away with an understanding of how eating disorders show up in communities of color, trafficking victims, and those who are in the LGBTQ+ community. This training is intended for field-based mental health and outreach workers in Los Angeles County. Anytime session recorded on January 8, 2024.
