Overview

People with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders (COD) often present with complex issues that require an integrated and individualized approach. This workshop is part one of a two-workshop series focusing on best practices for addressing COD. During this workshop, we delve into supporting people from a recovery-oriented perspective, from screening and assessment to integrated treatment planning, and beyond. Participants will learn foundational knowledge about motivation-based care and how to apply the appropriate stage of treatment to match a person’s stage of change. Anytime session recorded on February 15, 2024.
