Overview

This presentation discusses the opportunities and challenges of using EHR data to identify disparities in child mental health care.

Key objectives:

  • Identify commonly used publicly available data files that can be linked with EHR data to examine how social determinants of health may be a stronger predictor of racial/ethnic disparities.
  • Appreciate the future challenges of adapting advances in computational methods to a developmental framework examining disparities in the quality of child mental health (MH) care and service use/time.

These recordings of the Department of Mental Health (DMH) Quarterly Psychiatrists’ Meeting (QPM) are restricted. They are provided specifically for DMH psychiatrists who missed and/or want to review the quarterly meeting.
