Overview


This training is designed for practitioners who have a fundamental understanding of trauma and substance use and are seeking to develop assessment and treatment intervention skills and strategies. Using real-life case studies, we explore empirically grounded and emerging interventions to support individuals experiencing challenges or concerns as a result of substance use, who also have a history of experiencing trauma. This training is intended for field-based mental health and outreach workers in Los Angeles County.
