Overview


This training focuses on teaching basic mood regulation skills to help youth who experience challenges with executive functioning and may engage in risk-taking behavior develop or improve emotional regulation capacity and decision-making skills. Through a compassionate and consistent approach, participants will learn effective strategies to support youth in staying calm and making healthier decisions, ultimately fostering resilience and emotional stability. This training is intended for field-based mental health and outreach workers in Los Angeles County.
