Compassion in Action Series
Overview
This comprehensive training series equips professionals, caregivers, and advocates with the knowledge and tools to support youth in navigating complex challenges. Topics will include harm reduction strategies and applications for working with youth who have substance use disorders, advanced skills training for working with commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC), family vulnerabilities, and understanding childhood trauma and sexual abuse with youth in public schools. Through an intersectional and trauma informed lens, participants will gain actionable strategies to foster resilience, compassion, and empowerment for the young people they serve.
