Overview

A client's vision for their future is a powerful catalyst for change. This interactive workshop equips behavioral health practitioners with the tools to help adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorder move beyond their diagnosis and create a compelling vision for a life in recovery. Through hands-on practice with clinical techniques like strengths-finding, Socratic questioning, and therapeutic writing, participants will learn to inspire hope and empower clients to build a future defined by their values and aspirations. This training is intended for field-based mental health and outreach workers in Los Angeles County.
