Overview

This training equips clinicians with focused, trauma informed strategies to engage Gen Z males around gender, power, and aggression in ways that reduce harm and support healthier relational development.  The training provides a targeted examination of the harmful gender narratives shaping some Gen Z males’ views of women and masculinity, and how these narratives show up in clinical and caregiving settings.

Participants will explore the cultural, developmental, and digital influences contributing to gender‑based hostility, emotional disengagement, and aggression toward women. Emphasis is placed on practical engagement techniques clinicians can use within limited session time, including how to respond to misogynistic language, resistance, and defensiveness without reinforcing shame or power struggles. Through case examples and applied discussion, participants will learn how to interrupt harmful narratives while maintaining therapeutic rapport, accountability, and emotional safety.
