Overview

A self and community care open session for adults who support young people in Los Angeles County. Facilitated by Dance and Dialogue, this workshop invites you to find and dance your happy dance!

Through guided movement, gentle somatic practices, and accessible creative expression, participants will slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and intentionally cultivate joy as a counterbalance to stress and vicarious trauma. No dance experience is required — just a willingness to move with care in a welcoming, judgment-free space.

These sessions are for educators, teaching artists, caregivers, social workers, mental health professionals, youth advocates, and others supporting LA’s young people. Take a break to reconnect with joy and purpose, build community, support your wellbeing, and let off steam!
