A self and community care open session for adults who support young people in Los Angeles County. This session will be facilitated by artworxLA. 

This workshop is an imaginative and empowering exploration of self-worth. Participants will be guided through breathing exercises and activities to build deeper connections to themselves, their peers, and to the surrounding environment. Teaching artist Eddie Ruiz will introduce cultural mapping, ensemble games, and engage participants in a reflective poetry exercise traversing the conscious to the subconscious to gain insight into their social-emotional wellbeing. Eddie hopes to give some easy and achievable practices that participants can use to channel self-worth.

These sessions are open to all adults who support young people in Los Angeles County. Take a break to explore creativity, reconnect with joy and purpose, build community, support your own healing and wellbeing, and let off steam!
