Overview

This training will provide attendees with an opportunity to explore some factors that constitute a “difficult time", geopolitically, in the past and at present, as well as personally, which include how it uniquely affects clinical supervision in behavioral health settings. Foundational to this exploration and framing will be an interrogation of the interconnectedness and impact of provider identities and social locations on the role of a clinical supervisor, especially during current difficult times. Ultimately, attendees will be able to demonstrate best practices for navigating clinical supervision during difficult times. This training is intended for field-based mental health and outreach workers in Los Angeles County.
