Overview

Seeing the Unseen: Storytelling With Photography and Poetry builds intentional, imaginative stories through a series of multimodal activities centered on the creative exploration of traditional, lens-based photographs and ekphrastic, or vividly descriptive, poetry. Offering the opportunity to explore storytelling through the seen and unseen in both art forms, this training invites us to shift from the noise in our everyday lives and move inward — tapping back into the inherent power of art, community, and our own imaginations.
