Wellbeing Practice Course Previews
This video demonstrates the orienting practice—looking around, turning, and naming elements in your environment to anchor attention in the present moment. The orienting practice integrates the body and mind, and it soothes the nervous system. Orienting is one of five body-based strategies explored in the Somatic Series: Widening Our Window of Tolerance, a learning pathway that offers concrete wellbeing practices to support yourself and your community.
Practicing Trauma-Sensitive Communication in Schools is a learning pathway designed to help school staff understand how stress and trauma affect interpersonal communication. Through narrative storytelling and generative artificial intelligence, it equips learners with trauma-sensitive communication strategies and provides an interactive simulation to practice them in real time.
Assess, Recover, Mitigate, Strengthen (ARMS): A Wellbeing Regimen for Professionals is one of our most popular courses with over two thousand registrations to date. It covers concepts and tools to prevent and recover from occupational moral distress, moral injury, and burnout. It is appropriate for all human service professionals, including those in health care, social services, education, crisis response, and any other role requiring compassionate service to others.
