Dr. Nash is a pioneer in combat and operational stress control in the U.S. Marine Corps. He authored current Navy and Marine Corps doctrine for Combat and Operational Stress Control. Co-developed military-specific tools for psychological first aid: Combat and Operational Stress First Aid (COSFA) and was a Co-Principal Investigator for the Marine Resiliency Study, a large-scale prospective, longitudinal, bio-psycho-social-spiritual study of PTSD trajectories in ground combat Marines. Dr. Nash is a pioneer in the prevention, recognition, and treatment of moral injury.
