About
Larry Fernandez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received his Master of Social Work degree from Long Beach State University. Upon graduating he focused his career on developing as a mental health therapist with a focus on the children/TAY population and later transitioning into the adult treatment population.
Over the last 20 years, Larry has held several leadership positions within LACDMH contracted providers in the areas of SPA 4, 6, & 7. In 2010, Larry joined the faculty team at California State University, Los Angeles as an Adjunct Professor of graduate studies for their School of Social Work where his areas of focus include human behavior, mental health recovery systems, clinical assessing & diagnosing, and trauma & substance abuse treatment.
Currently, Larry’s work focuses primarily on implementation and technical support to existing FSP programs throughout Los Angeles County.
