Dr. Lisa Rhee is a clinical director with Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) and an adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She is also a clinical instructor at the UCLA Child and Adult Neurodevelopmental (CAN) Clinic. She has over 20 years of experience in the field working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. She holds a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles where she has focused her research on caregiver-child interaction and peer relationships of children with ASD. She has training in many areas of Applied Behavioral Analysis including Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching, Discrete Trial Training, Pivotal Response Training, Social Skills Training, and Positive Behavioral Support. Prior to AST, she spent six years working as a project/research coordinator at UCLA/Autism Evaluation Clinic for various psychopharmacology research supported by the National Institute of Mental Health specifically working with children and adolescents with aggressive behaviors.
