Marisa Faynsod is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and National Certified Sexual Abuse Counselor. Marisa currently works at Stuart House providing therapy to children who are survivors of sexual abuse. For a decade she has been providing on-call crisis counseling at the UCLA Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica. Additionally, Marisa is a National Trauma Trainer for The Center for Safe & Resilient Schools and Workplaces and trains school and mental health professionals in evidence-based practices that help support children heal from stressful life events.
