Dr. Jessica Borelli is a clinical child psychologist specializing in parent-child relationships and child attachment. She received her PhD in psychology at Yale University and then completed a pre-doctoral clinical internship at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She is a Professor and the Associate Director for Clinical Training in the Department of Psychological Science at UC Irvine. She is also the Clinical Director of Compass Therapy, a private practice in Newport Beach, where she specializes in working with children and families. Borelli is the author of Nature Meets Nurture: Science-Based Strategies for Raising Resilient Kids and Relational Savoring: Using Guided Reflection to Strengthen Relationships and Improve Outcomes in Therapy.
