About
Daniel Johnson is a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts. He received his PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder, and completed his predoctoral internship at McLean Hospital, the largest psychiatric teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He then finished his postdoctoral fellowship at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Boston Healthcare System, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Johnson has previously worked as a staff psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital’s outpatient substance use disorders (SUDs) clinic, and as the director of the acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) program at the Boston Child Study Center. He now maintains a private practice, teaches and mentors graduate students in clinical psychology, and trains mental health professionals as a peer reviewed ACT trainer.
