Overview

Hesitancy to receive the COVID-19 vaccine coincides with concern that vaccines are unsafe or untested. Such beliefs stem from inaccurate information and can discourage people from receiving the vaccine. Dr. Hilary Aralis, Assistant Professor and Biostatician at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, discusses vaccine safety and fears regarding the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.
