Overview
Establishing trusting and reliable relationships is key when addressing concerns surrounding COVID-19 and vaccinations. Specifically, for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color with a history of medical exploitation, identifying trustworthy and considerate messengers for community outreach can lead to greater understanding. To discuss inclusive communication strategies for the diverse communities within LA county is Dr. Jae Lee, Professor and Epidemiologist at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
