Overview


This video uses the Adverse Community Experience and Resilience (ACE(R)) framework to think about equitable community-level recovery and systems change that supports wellbeing in the long term. Actions that agencies have taken to create protective environments, strengthen economic supports, and advance other suicide and trauma prevention strategies will be identified. The webinar discusses what actions are needed to move forward to further community wellbeing, prevent suicide and trauma, and intentionally address racial and other inequities.

Suicide Prevention Modules: Preventing Trauma and Suicide During Catastrophic Events and Beyond

The modules on this website offer communities and states guidance to assess their local contexts, populations most impacted by suicide, and promising strategies during periods of infrastructure disruption due to catastrophic events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Government agencies and community-based organizations operating at the state and local levels are the intended audience, though others may find these tools valuable as well.
