Overview


This training entails a discussion of key concepts involved in emotional and physical wellbeing, including emotional self-regulation, behavioral regulation, and mindfulness skills. The primary aim of mindfulness practice is to develop a receptive state of mind that interrupts habitual patterns of perception and reactivity, ultimately fostering clear perception and equanimity. The present training provides instruction in mindfulness training, an experiential mindfulness exercise, and a discussion about the application of mindfulness training to stress reduction. The training also explores behavioral self-regulation methods to promote self-care, including methods for developing a self-care action plan. Anytime session recorded on February 18, 2025.
