Why Am I Burned Out and What Can I Do About It?

Overview
This training will help you to better understand burnout among mental health professionals, with a heavy emphasis on assisting each person to identify their own personal triggers and warning signs of burnout. Most importantly, participants will develop a personal plan to prevent or reduce burnout and improve wellness. Additionally, participants will be exposed through didactic presentation, and especially through participatory exercises, to a range of possible strategies that draw heavily from third-generation cognitive behavioral and positive psychology methods to prevent and reduce burnout. By the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to draft a personal plan for burnout prevention and wellness. Anytime session recorded on May 17, 2019.
