FOCUS Resilience Curriculum Training of Trainers
Overview
This training provides instruction on becoming a Families OverComing Under Stress (FOCUS) Resilience Curriculum trainer for your organization. The FOCUS Resilience Curriculum training of trainers is designed to support ongoing capacity building for the FOCUS model and equip participants with the tools to deliver the FOCUS Resilience Curriculum using evidence-based teaching methods. Training in the FOCUS Resilience Curriculum requires an understanding of the theoretical orientation of FOCUS, the core elements of FOCUS, the skill modules, fidelity to the model, and practical implementation techniques. This training combines didactics with interactive training methods that prepare trainers to deliver the FOCUS Resilience Curriculum. Coaching is also provided through online learning communities and virtual technical support.
