Overview

This advanced training will support non-clinical providers and caregivers across Los Angeles County who work with and support youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Advanced Practice IDD Training will take a deeper dive into trauma and resilience informed strategies, enhancing communication, sensory diets, self-regulation strategies, and community asset mapping.

A prerequisite for this training is completing the live OR anytime virtual training: Trauma Informed Strategies for Working With Individuals With ID/DD/ASD for Non-Clinical Staff.
