Community of Practice: Person-Centered Care
Overview
Collaborate with other field-based mental health professionals at biweekly virtual meetings, co-facilitated by Elizabeth Mackey, MSW, and Chelsea Simms, LCSW. Person-centered practice is a critical component of recovery-oriented care. This Community of Practice (CoP) provides a space for providers to deepen their understanding and application of person-centered practice across a variety of evidence-based practices and clinical concepts. The CoP will include opportunities for:
- Case-based problem-solving
- Gaining new and creative ideas
- Networking with colleagues
- Sharing challenges, solutions, and successes
Participants should aim to attend at least 8 of the 12 sessions. This ensures adequate opportunity for case-based learning and continuity between sessions.
