Overview
FOCUS (Families OverComing Under Stress) is an evidence-based model that teaches how to implement key skills to support youth and family resilience. FOCUS for Families consists of eight skill-building modules that help families apply resilience skills while managing the stressors related to their unique family challenges. This training is highly interactive and prepares clinicians to deliver FOCUS in a variety of settings. Participants are expected to actively participate in discussions and breakout room practice activities. This training is intended for masters level clinicians and above. Please only register for this training if you’re able to attend the whole training on both days.
