Overview
This training explores the basics of Hoarding Disorder, such as its symptoms, criteria for diagnosis, and neurological and genetic components. We will then look at ways of assessing its severity and determining the level of insight and readiness for treatment of the client. From there participants will be introduced to intervention techniques for both resistant and non-resistant clients with the goal of improving the client’s health and safety in the home.
