Overview


A three-part series to support mental health clinicians interested in learning more about how to apply Crisis Oriented Recovery Services (CORS) with their clients experiencing crises. These Ask the Expert sessions will connect clinicians with Dr. Dawn Vo-Jutabha, who will review CORS foundations and concepts in Session 1, explore how to apply CORS with individuals in Session 2, and discuss ways to adapt CORS for families in Session 3.

Learn about ways to assist clients in resolving and/or coping with psychosocial crisis and promoting the development of coping strategies.

Certification for Crisis Oriented Recovery Services (CORS)

The Crisis Oriented Recovery Services (CORS) Certification is for mental health clinicians interested in providing an immediate, short-term intervention to individuals and families experiencing a psychosocial crisis. After you are certified in CORS, you will know how to deliver CORS to children, adults, and families and minimize the potential for long-term consequences of trauma or distress.
