Overview


This series of brief videos is focused on providing mental health providers with a greater knowledge regarding crisis in its many forms. This collection includes practical knowledge on de-escalation, post-crisis reflection, and treatment planning to facilitate greater growth for the client and clinician. Crisis interventions for a field-based setting versus an outpatient setting is highlighted with a focus on maintaining awareness of your surroundings and verbal and non-verbal cues. There is also an emphasis on managing crises via telehealth and assessment tools with case applications.
